Luc Montagnier, who spoke at last years A4M Iberia Congress 2008, has been recently named as a joint recipient of the Nobel Prize in Physiology / Medicine for his discovery of HIV. His work in leading the team of scientists that discovered the virus helped identify it as the cause of AIDS. A4M Iberia wishes to congratulate Professor Montagnier on the award, and to once again thank him for his presentation in the 2008 congress.

Dr Michael Holick of Boston University Endocrinology Section will be giving a talk on photobiology and the roles of rPTHtp and vitamin D in cellular proliferation. Dr. Holick is internationally recognized for his many contributions in the field of vitamin D, calcium, and bone endocrinology and metabolism. He is a member of the Association of American Physicians and the American Society for Clinical Investigation, a merit awardee of NIH, and also serves as Chairman of a Review Group for NASA.

Prof. Guy Brown heads a prominent research group at the University of Cambridge, in the United Kingdom.
